Fresh from a brisk walk at Riverbanks Botanical Gardens and feeling hungry, we headed across the bridge to Liberty Tap Room. Here's a place that defines "excellence".

I ordered grilled yellow fin tuna (medium rare) with a house salad, asparagus (their seasonal vegetable) and baked potato. Hubby ordered 10 oz sirloin with caeser salad and mashed sweet potatoes. And of course, beer! He tried the micro-brew Liberty Lager... light and refreshing. We are super-picky and we loved it. The tuna was a glorious pink with seared and seasoned exterior. Served with very tasty sauce, perfectly done asparagus and potato. George's steak was done perfectly and his sweet potatoes were yummy - I helped myself!

We loved the fresh baked bread with herb seasoning. Really a remarkable meal. We will go back soon!
